Compressed gas is an indispensable part of modern industry. Common compressed gases in industry mainly include compressed air (CDA) and bottled compressed gas. Compressed air is called the second power source, second only to electricity, and is also a multi-purpose process gas source.
Industrial bottled compressed gas is usually contained in a controlled gas cylinder, and the gas pressure is usually 13-15MPa. Its advantages are space saving, safety and easy transportation. When using compressed gas, it will be decompressed and stabilized according to actual use needs. So what are the gas pressure regulation methods of plasma cleaning machines, and what are the usage skills?
Gas pressure control is one of the important parameters to ensure the normal operation of plasma cleaning machines. Common gas decompressions include gas cylinder pressure reducers, pneumatic pressure regulating valves and pipeline throttle valves.
1. Gas cylinder pressure reducer
A gas cylinder pressure reducer is a device that reduces the high-pressure gas in a gas cylinder to a low-pressure gas. The process gas used in plasma cleaning machines is mostly bottled high-pressure gas. In order to ensure the stability of the process and the working stability of each gas circuit component, the high-pressure gas is usually reduced to 0.2-0.4MPa through a gas cylinder reducer.
When using, it is necessary to ensure the sealing of the gas cylinder connected to the reducer and the reducer connected to the gas pipe. When installing the reducer to the gas cylinder, it is necessary to use raw tape as a sealing medium to wrap around the threaded port of the gas cylinder. It is recommended to use a 3/8 standard interface for the output interface of the reducer, so that the original tower-type joint can be replaced with a quick-tighten joint or a double ferrule joint to ensure the sealing between the process gas output gas pipe and the gas interface of the plasma cleaning machine.
If the industrial gas used is argon, it is recommended to use an oxygen reducer. This is mainly because the output pressure of the argon-specific reducer is usually 0.15MPa. If one bottle of gas supplies two or more plasma cleaning machines, its output pressure cannot meet the use requirements, which is easy to cause the equipment to alarm under pressure.
2. Pneumatic pressure regulating valve
The pneumatic pressure regulating valve is an important component of pneumatic control. Its function is to control the external compressed gas at the required working pressure and keep its pressure and flow stable.
Whether it is a vacuum plasma cleaning machine or an atmospheric plasma cleaning machine, a pneumatic pressure regulating valve will be installed when the gas is input. To ensure the cleanliness of the gas, a gas filter component can be installed during use. The following figure shows the application of the pressure regulating valve and the filter component in the atmospheric plasma cleaning machine.
In order to facilitate the inspection of the gas pressure, a pressure gauge can be installed on the pressure regulating valve or a pressure regulating valve with a pressure gauge can be selected. If an underpressure alarm is required, a pressure gauge with an alarm output function can also be selected or a pressure switch can be installed.
