Spin coater is a common laboratory equipment used in the material film preparation process. Its principle is relatively simple. It uses the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the motor to evenly coat the test liquid or glue on the surface of the base material. It can be called "a machine that evenly coats the glue".


Spin coater has many names, such as spin coater, spin coater, spin coating machine or spin coater, etc. Its English name is Spin Coater (meaning spin coating). Since spin coater is one of the methods for preparing thin film materials in scientific research and development, users expect the equipment to be able to "evenly" coat the test liquid or glue.


Usually we use uniformity and repeatability to measure the quality of thin film material preparation. There is a big gap between the development of this kind of spin coating equipment at home and abroad. The first unit in China to develop spin coater was the Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The KW-4A spin coater launched has two units: low-speed start and high-speed rotation.


The spin coater produced by CIF adopts closed-loop control servo motor, digital speed increase signal feedback, accurate speed, long life, and ensures the uniformity of the glue. 5-inch full-color touch screen, intelligent programmable control display, standard 10 glue gradient stages (speed and time gradient settings), optional 10 programmable programs, each program can set 10 glue gradient stages, up to 100 stages. Built-in horizontal calibration device to ensure uniform spin coating, can be used for substrates of different sizes. Multiple safety protection: triple sealing safety protection between the sample tray bayonet and the sample tray, effectively reducing the risk of motor glue entry. One machine for two purposes, according to different samples, two spin coating methods can be selected: vacuum suction cup and non-vacuum chuck. Stainless steel spray coating spin coating shell, spin coating chamber is made of PTFE material. Spin coating tray is made of polypropylene (NPP-H) material, acid and alkali resistant and anti-corrosion, ensuring that the instrument can still operate normally under harsh conditions. Upper and lower double chamber design, the larger upper chamber is easy to wipe and remove the glue, the conical lower chamber structure design is easy to collect the glue, and it is equipped with a waste glue collection device. Optional nitrogen drying, nitrogen protection, automatic glue dripping or simple glue dripping device, providing a variety of operating convenience. Applicable to various materials such as silicon wafers, glass, quartz, metal, GaAs, GaN, InP, etc.
