The 2025 "5th National College Student Innovation Competition on High Voltage and Plasma Technology," hosted by the China Electrotechnical Society, concluded successfully. The team from CIF partner institution Huaibei Normal University won multiple regional and national awards. During the competition, CIF's CPC15 plasma cleaner provided robust equipment support for their innovative experiments, leveraging its large chamber design, multi-layer processing capabilities, and user-friendly operation.


In the 2025 competition, the project Study on Plasma-Treated Bismuth-Doped MoS₂ and Its Supercapacitor Performance, guided by teachers Li Han and Zhang Yongxing and completed by students Xu Jing, Yuan Xulong, et al., won the First Prize in the East China Regional Competition and ultimately secured the National First Prize! In this study, the CPC15 plasma cleaner was utilized for the surface modification of bismuth-doped MoS₂, providing crucial support for its supercapacitor applications.


In the same competition, another outstanding project, Study on Citric Acid-Treated MoS₂ Subjected to Plasma Treatment and Its Supercapacitor Performance, completed by students Rui Shaoqi, Li Zijian, et al., won the First Prize in the East China Regional Competition and the National Second Prize! In this study, the CPC15 plasma cleaner was utilized to treat the citric acid-modified MoS₂, effectively optimizing its electrochemical performance.


In the same competition, the project Plasma-Treated Cobalt-Doped Mo₀.₆₄W₀.₃₆S₂ as Supercapacitor and Lithium-Ion Battery Anode Materials, completed by students Tian Yanqing, Wang Qi, et al., won the Second Prize in the East China Regional Competition. Additionally, the project Preparation of Self-Supported MoWS₂ and Study on Its Supercapacitor Electrochemical Performance, completed by students Zhao Dehao, Wang Huidong, et al., also secured the Regional Second Prize. In these experiments, the CPC15 plasma cleaner was utilized to treat the cobalt-doped MoWS compounds, aiming to enhance their comprehensive properties as energy materials.

Notably, this is not the first time Huaibei Normal University has achieved outstanding results in this competition. In the 4th competition in 2024, the project by students Meng Lingshuai, Wang Qi, et al., had already won the National First Prize. Standing out for two consecutive years fully demonstrates the university's profound accumulation in the field of high voltage and plasma technology, as well as its remarkable achievements in talent cultivation.
All these achievements are inseparable from the students' hard work, the dedicated guidance of their teachers Li Han and Zhang Yongxing, and the university's high emphasis on and strong support for technological innovation.
